About This Limited Edition
This model depicts the United Airlines Airbus A320 retrojet in the airline’s “Friend Ship” livery.
Nicknamed the "Stars and Bars" design, the livery was first introduced in 1971 and selected by the airline's employees to be revived in celebration of United’s 85th anniversary in 2011.
The A320 "Friend Ship" is registered as N475UA and is still operating as a part of United's fleet today.
