PREORDER ONLY: United Airlines A320 "Friend Ship" Desktop Model in 1/100 Scale

This detailed 1/100 scale model depicts the United Airlines’ Airbus A320 retrojet in the airline’s classic “Friend Ship” livery.

Nicknamed the "Stars and Bars" design, the livery was first introduced in 1971 and selected via a company-wide poll to be revived in celebration of United’s 85th anniversary in 2011.

The A320 "Friend Ship" is registered as N475UA and is still operating as a part of United's fleet today.

We are offering this model on a made-to-order basis, available exclusively for those who secure one during the order window. See below for further details.

Preorder Details

Preorders are open for 10 consecutive days, closing at 8:00 AM Pacific Time (US & Canada) on Sunday, August 24. A minimum of 20 orders is required to begin production. Once the minimum is met, we can guarantee delivery of the model. We will accept as many orders as we receive during the 10-day window. If the minimum is not met, the model will not be manufactured and those who did place an order will be fully refunded

Production will take approximately 8-10 weeks, after which your model will ship directly to you. The current estimated ship date for this production run is October 27. Once the preorder window closes, no further orders will be accepted, and this edition will not be re-released for regular sale on The Model Shop.

Airfoil™ Base

This production run of models will include a signature Pacmin Studios Airfoil™ base featuring a text imprint on the bottom describing the model, final release date, and total number of models produced in this run. Please note we do not offer base substitutions for this model. Additional imprint details can be added to the top of the base for an extra fee.

Shipping Details

Shipments can be expected to begin approximately 8-10 weeks after the close of the order window (assuming the order minimum has been met). The current estimated ship date for this production run is October 27.
